Electret microphone แบ่งเป็น3 ประเภทหลัก ดังนี้

  1. Foil-type or diaphragm-type เป็นชนิดที่ใช้บ่อย แต่มีคุณภาพต่ำ
  2. Back electret เหมาะสำหรับการผลิตทรานดิวเซอร์
  3. Front electret
